Hendrik, or Henk to most people, is a pureblood Dutchman originally from Bilthoven, Netherlands, but since December 2006 has lived and worked in Estonia.
Electrical engineering found him. He says his father worked in the electrical field so he started helping him out and soon found himself studying electrical engineering as well. He has had an outstanding career at the industrial automation Industry and worked in various demanding roles. After many years of experience as a Project Engineer in automation, Henk joined the Artesyn crew as Electrical & Field Application Engineer focusing mainly on our control panel projects. At Artesyn he appreciates the opportunity to be creative, try out new things and be a part of the fast-paced innovation taking place. He also enjoys the good atmosphere and friendly relationships between colleagues. It’s not something you can take for granted, he says.
He describes himself as a typical Capricorn, who takes things one step at a time and thinks before he acts. On his free time, he loves doing sports, going to the gym and even belongs to the winter swimming club here in Estonia. After coaching a kids football team for several years he now every once in a while assists his son in his football training. When there is time left he also enjoys going out on the weekends, meeting new people and enjoying good music.
We are happy to have him on board!
