We’re excited about welcoming Liis into the ARTeSYN® family as our new Marketing Assistant!
Prior to joining us at ARTeSYN® she has mostly been active in the legal field and has a Law LLB (Hons) from King’s College London. Her main interests in law lie in intellectual property law and medical law, which made her in-house work at the King’s College Hospital and makes her current position at ARTeSYN® the more valuable to her. We, on the other hand, have come to appreciate the can-do attitude, open-mindedness and attention to detail her legal background has taught her and that she has brought to the team.
Liis has, however, also always been passionate about TED Talks and the program’s aim of spreading inspiration around the globe. As an organiser of TEDx events for nearly 5 years she has, for a while, dedicated herself to “Ideas worth spreading” and taken on roles from volunteer to translator and most recently that of head organiser of TEDxKing’sCollegeLondon. Her involvement in all areas of event organising has made her keen to keep learning more about team leadership as well as the theories of cognitive psychology behind it. The initiative as a collaborator and flexibility as a communicator, that she thereby possesses, have been traits that we have certainly benefited from by having her on the team!
As of recent, she has moved back to Estonia and now lives near the capital, Tallinn. Having spent quite some time in London previously, she now often spends her free time in the outdoors and as a true Estonian is surrounding herself with music again, which in her case means dusting off her singing and saxophone playing skills.
We are lucky to have an employee such as Liis on the ARTeSYN® team and look forward to working with her further!
